How to Create a Crypto Invoice for Clients

Creating a professional crypto invoice with Invoiceum takes only a few minutes. Add payment and client details, generate a shareable link, and send it to your customer. You can also download the invoice as a PDF that includes a QR code for your wallet address.

Step 1: Create a New Invoice

Log in to your Invoiceum account and select Create Invoice.

Fill in the required information:

Review everything carefully before generating the invoice, especially the payment asset, network, and wallet address.

Step 2: Generate and Share the Invoice Link

Once the invoice is ready, Invoiceum generates a unique payment link for your client.

Copy the link and send it via email, messenger, or any channel you use. Your client can open the invoice online, review payment details, and pay using the wallet address you provided.

If you want to understand how crypto payments are matched on-chain with invoices, see Features.

Step 3: Collect Additional Client Information (Optional)

If you need more complete records, open your Profile page and mark the relevant client fields as required.

When your client opens the invoice, they will be asked to complete those fields before proceeding. This helps you collect information such as name, company details, billing address, or other data you need for your records.

Learn more about organizing client documentation in About.

Step 4: Send the Invoice as a PDF (Optional)

You can also download and send a PDF version of the invoice. The PDF includes the invoice details and a QR code that points to the wallet address.

Your client can scan the QR code with a compatible crypto wallet instead of entering the address manually.

Before sending the PDF, confirm that the wallet address, cryptocurrency, network, and payment amount are correct. Crypto transactions usually cannot be reversed if funds are sent to an incorrect address or through an unsupported network.

Create Your Crypto Invoice with Invoiceum

That’s it: create the invoice, enter your details, generate a link, and send it to your client. If needed, enable required fields to collect additional client information, or share a PDF invoice with a wallet-address QR code.
